The weighted average asset and liability interest rates on new operations in national and foreign currency, are constructed with information received from banking institutions with a lag of one week. Asset operations exclude loans under special conditions and programs: Decrees to support production, RAP funds, Fosovi, Banhprovi and liability operations refer only to term deposits.
On the other hand, the interbank interest rate corresponds to the rate agreed in credit operations carried out between banks to meet their liquidity needs in the short term.
